The new season is upon us and our first match is on Wednesday 24 April in the Ashley Baker league against Milton Hill.
Due to wet weather we been having, our green is not ready to play on at the moment, the venue is switched to Milton Hill
Thank you Milton Hill for the switch.
Our next match is a Friendly against Faringdon at home on Sunday 28th April with a start of 2.30pm.
We require more names on the fixture list, please put your name down.
The club need you
Graham Butler was a much-loved member of Harwell Bowls club who died at the end of 2022.
Although he only joined the club in 2021, when Morlands closed, he was very active helping out with the green and buildings and is remebered for his cheer and enthusiasm.
His wife, Lyn, donated a trophy to the club in Graham’s memory and the inaugural Graham Butler Memorial Match took place on 15 October as an internal tournament with members of Graham’s family joining the club. For some it was their first taste of bowls.
The tournament was followed by a shared tea and presentation. The event was greatly enjoyed by all who took part. Thanks to everyone who was involved in the preparations that made this event such a success and we look forward to the match becoming a regular club feature.
